MASK Innovators: "Fitting for any organization seeking growth." Elsie Wandera, CEO of Heroes for Change at Unilever, commends the programme.

In 2019 and 2022, Danielle Wijenje, a 19-year-old medical student, and Wendy Moraa, a 20-year-old sociology student from Kenya, secured MASK Awards prizes — three-month paid internships at Unilever's Heroes for Change in Nairobi.

Danielle reflected, "MASK Awards helped boost my confidence in developing entrepreneurial ideas that can pave the way for my future financial success."

Wendy added, "Winning MASK Awards has been a highlight of my young life, which will benefit me for years to come. I worked with a brilliant team, grew as a thinker, and changed how I look at the world. It helped me mentally, socially and financially. I am excited and hopeful for the future. Carrying the lessons I have learned with me, I am eager to test them in a new environment."
