Educated in Fine Art and Design at Kenyatta University, Musyoka describes himself as painter, sculptor, designer, photographer, and art tutor. He works in different media such as oil, acrylic, charcoal, graphite and watercolor on diverse surfaces.
"My work reflects my interest in human behaviour and my desire to depict social and cultural mannerisms in daily life experiences. My current work blends the past and present times. This union of times relives memories and shows how things have evolved. I document culture lived in childhood and adulthood experiences. My subjects are derived from photographs, travels, memories and daily encounters. Most of my work is deliberate ambiguous to allow diverse interpretations."
Martin has exhibited in group shows in Nairobi and Mombasa.
