James Mwarano Gioko

Nairobi, Kenya

James Mwarano Gioko, a self-taught artist based in Nairobi, Kenya. He was mentored by Bobea Art Centre in Bujusanii Tattoo art studio 2018-2019.


Inspired by British painter Randolph Schwabe, a war artist who also known for his theatre set designs, James draws inspiration from everyday objects and photographs to create his art.
